Just got from Caymans. Went with my husband and another couple. We have been to the Caymans four times and the Villas are the best place to stay at. We had a beautiful condo that was fully equipt with everything you could possibly need. The people there are awesome and we will be back.

We had two couples staying at the Villas of the Galleon. This is our fourth time to the Cayman Islands. The Villas are the perfect condo and location for us. Everything is convenient and the beach is awesome. The people at the Villas are all very very nice and easy to deal with. The Condo was spotless and very well kept. We had all we needed and will be back soon.

This past week was my husband's and my first trip to Grand Cayman and had an absolutely fabulous time! I found the Villas during my research into lodging on 7 Mile Beach, and on paper they looked like the best value on the beach. In person, I was not disappointed! For a large 1BR/1BA condo with a full kitchen, washer/dryer, private beach access with shade trees, chairs, and umbrellas, and a spot for scuba dive shops to pick you up, you cannot get a better deal than at the Villas of the Galleon. Lisa has great connections with ground transportation vendors and restaurants, we had everything we needed for the perfect scuba diving vacation. The condo was clean and in good repair, plenty of storage for clothing/luggage, and little things like the variety of kitchen utensils, dishes, and bath supplies and a cute little guest book for us to sign along with previous occupants really showed that they go the extra mile to make sure you're taken care of. We will definitely be back, thanks for everything!!!

Another wonderfull vacation at the Villa's. My daughter, and 3 grandsons spent a week and loved every minute of it our only problem it was too short, next time will be 2 weeks. Lisa and her staff were wonderful as usual and we thank them for being so kind. the grandchildren enjoyed snorkeling and playing on the beach. The villa itself has everything from dishwasher to washer/dryer, stores and restaurants are within walking reach. See you next year

We have been traveling to Grand Cayman regularly during each winter for the last twenty years; the past several staying at the Villas of The Galleon. "VOG" is a beautifully maintained property, perfectly located on Seven Mile Beach and houses a comfortable set of well equipped villa/condo units that boasts all the modern conveniences a couple or family would need or want while still retaining the charm and tranquility of the pre-"high rise" Caribbean. Lisa and her maintenance staff, grounds and housekeeping professionals are accommodating, responsive and welcoming. Guests, whether owners or renters, are friendly and helpful to one another in this mini-neighborhood sandwiched between the Westin and Ritz. Unlike the neighboring properties, VOG's beach is not jammed with lounge chairs crammed tightly together; it is a calm and wide expanse of powdery sand, clean, comfortable and has plenty of tree and umbrella shade if desired. VOG boasts one of the most pleasing spots on 7MB; great multi-colored blue gree water views & vibrant sunsets, fun snorkeling (or just floating) within footsteps of every unit and walking distance to Fosters; a fully modernized food and grocery store, at least a dozen restaurants and three liquor stores. Lisa can help direct guests to arrange a jeep or car for the day, tours and directions to diving & snorkeling boat excursions, the Turtle Farm, Stingray City (a must do) or a day trip to Rum Point. The taxi ride to and from the GCM airport is relatively short; under 25 minutes and not expensive, around $25-30 each way.
We consider VOG our home away from home upon arrival; leaving is always sad...but we look forward to returning next year; every year!

We stayed at the VOG the week before Christmas and had a great time. We rented two condos next to each other. Lisa and ALL of the VOG team were wonderful. We opted to not get a rental car which ended up working out just fine. There are little buses and cabs running most of the time. There is a full service grocery store within walking distance as well as a bunch of restaurants. The best part is that your private section of 7 mile beach is just a few steps away! Bring your snorkel gear as you can snorkel right of the beach.

I have just spent 4 days here and should have stayed longer. Gorgeous views of the beach from the apartment, each morning I looked out and thought it was a painting, just awesome. The apartments are very well stocked for everything you may need. And the supermarket is conveniently located. Very highly recommended.

Just come back from an amazing week at the Villas of the Galleon. Our apartment was wonderful; very comfortable, incredible beach view from our balcony, fully equipped with absolutely everything you could wish for and the staff were wonderful. VOG is in an ideal location on a beautiful private stretch of Seven Mile Beach which is much quieter than that of the neighbouring hotels. I'd highly recommend it!

I've been asked by friends why we keep returning to Grand Cayman and the Villas of the Galleon condo resort on 7 Mile Beach.

First, the Caymanian people and their culture are refreshingly gracious, polite, honest, hospitable and very hard working.

And the Villa? The accomodations and the staff are top-shelf. The setting? Located on a stretch of one of the most pristine beaches in the world, no more than 75 steps from the patio door's magnificent ocean view, facing west where there is a different sunset every day....forever. Oh, yes, and the water simply laps at the shore.

I rest my case.

The accomodations and location of the Villas of the Galleon were ideal. We hunted for shells and saw small schools of fish at the beach adjacent to our room. There were also opportunities for a variety of water sports. I cannot say enough wonderful things about the Villas of the Galleon. I hope that we have a chance to return in the future!

I had a very good time staying at the villas. I had a great view of the ocean and I loved just sitting on the beach. Lisa the manager was great she had us go on a great snorkeling trip, so if you are looking to go on one you should ask her. The snorkeling right off the beach was great as well. Lisa made the trip over the top great. It was one of the best trip i have ever been on. I would recommend going there.

Villas of the Galleon was fantastic! The condos are completely furnished with a full kitchen and ours had a washer and dryer in it. We were just steps from the beach which is the most beautiful I have ever seen. The grounds are beautiful! The manager, Lisa, was always so willing to help us with anything we needed. She's great! The Villas beach was never crowded like some of the other surrounding areas. I wouldn't stay anywhere else on Grand Cayman! We can't wait to go back!

Top notch!! My husband and I stayed at the Villas in August 2010 and will be returning to the Villas!! Our ground floor villa was huge, spotless, had a washer and dryer and full kitchen but the BEST part was stepping out right onto the white sands of Seven Mile Beach - literally steps away! The daily maid service was wonderful and Lisa was fantastic!! We are planning our 2011 trip and can't wait to return!!

Lisa and the entire staff at VOG are exemplary! The grounds and the property are beautifully maintained. The units are comfortably furnished. Our first visit was almost 12 years ago, and we can't wait to return this April.

we originally had a reservation at a different location on the island which turned out to be disappointing. lisa had a unit available for our last three nights. she was recommended to us by this lovely woman, donna, who works for the tourism bureau. our condo at villas of galleon made up for everything. perfect location and a beautiful beach. the housekeeping staff was so trustworthy we didn't worry about a thing. can't wait to return next year.

We have been going to Villas of the Galleon for more than 12 years. When we were there last, Lisa mentioned that she would be offering some super summer specials, hope we can take advantage in the next few months. Villas is a wonderful place to go and they definitely have the best beach in Grand Cayman!

In July, my wife and I will be returning to the Villas.

We first discovere the Villas in 1983 and for each trip back to Grand Cayman, there is no place we would rather be; and this will be our 12th trip. The accomodations are immaculate, the service and management are top-shelf and the location on the beach is unsurpassed.

Yes, soon I'll be laying out, reading a best-seller, smoking a choice cigar, sipping on Grand Marnier and listening to the water lapping at the shore line. A peace of mind like no where else in the world.

Frommer's Review

This condo complex is on the widest strip of sand along Seven Mile Beach, across the road from the Links at SafeHaven golf course. Inside the stucco cottages, you'll find impressive, well-maintained rooms with rattan furnishings and pastels, along with creamy tiles, all evoking the easy, breezy Caribbean lifestyle. Each of the rentals contains one, two, or three bedrooms along with a fully equipped kitchen and a private balcony or patio overlooking Seven Mile Beach and the ocean. The closets are especially large. The villas lie just 2 blocks from grocery and liquor stores and several top restaurants. Families like to check in here because each unit [offers] baby cribs and rollaways. You'll find beach towels, patio furniture, beach loungers, and outdoor grills. There is even daily maid service.
