The husband and wife team of the owner operated 'Living The Dream Divers' offer a personalised Cayman Islands Diving experience. The spacious custom built Newton dive boat, designed to accommodate large groups of divers, is instead reserved for smaller groups to help provide a world class service.

The crystal clear waters off Grand Cayman offer visibility of 80-100 feet, making this the perfect activity for both novice and experienced divers. The morning and afternoon 2-tank dive trips typically consist of a famous wall dive followed by time to relax on the surface before jumping in for the second dive on a shallower site on the wall, reef system or wreck dive. The guided dives will give you the opportunity to see turtles feeding, moray eels, sleeping nurse sharks, eagle rays, stingrays, lion fish, squid, angelfish and peacock flounders.

Tour options include a trip to the stingray sandbar and diving with the gentle stingray at the stingray city dive site. Private charters are also available for Grand Cayman diving and snorkelling along with camera rentals, videos and complementary bus transfer from your hotel, condo or cruise terminal. The experienced Dive Masters also offer PADI courses from Discover Scuba Diving to Advanced as well as PADI e-Learning certification.

On April Fool's day of 1996 Divers Down was established by two friends Steve Surrey and Andy Porter who met whilst working at Bob Soto's as dive instructors. Their vision was to own their own company where there would be a maximum of eight divers on the boat so that each guest would receive the attention they deserved.

Their way of thinking proved popular and through hard work, tons of experience, friendly personalized service and a lot of repeat custom over the years Divers Down now boasts a fleet of six dive boats and numerous members of staff. In some ways the company has expanded enormously, however, the basic philosophy has remained the same; still only eight divers on a boat, two tank dives both morning and afternoon and a service which is always professional and friendly.

In January of 2006 Divers Down opened a dedicated training division called Cayman Diving College , which recently was awarded the prestigious rating of a PADI Five Star Gold Palm Instructor Development Centre. All levels of dive education are offered including introductory Resort Courses for the first time diver to the professional training of future PADI dive instructors.

We are one of Cayman's premier dive operations, and have been providing personalized service to small groups since 1978. Our daily trips leave from the Seven Mile Beach, and hotel & condo pickup is available by prior arrangement.

Come dive with us on the world-renowned walls, reefs, and wrecks of Grand Cayman Island. Enjoy some of the very finest undersea ecology on the planet, along with superb visibility, almost no current, and calm tropical waters.

On the western side of the island, visit such famous sites as Trinity Caves and Sand Chute and the Wrecks of the Balboa, the Oro Verde, and the Polson. Marvel at the quantity and variety of fish life at Peter's Reef or Fish Reef, or enjoy unique sites such as Spanish Anchor (where you examine an anchor that has been dated to the time of Columbus, amid a rich complex of marine life).

On the north, wonder at the dramatic drop-offs and pinnacles of Lemon Wall, Black Forest, or White-Stroke Canyon, or pay a visit to the denizens of Tarpon Alley or Eagle Ray Pass. On the south, enjoy rarely dived sites such as Blackie's Hole, Oriental Gardens, or Armchair. Grand Cayman is surrounded on all sides by exquisite dive sites, and we have visited them all.

Advanced reservations are recommended due to the limited number of divers per trip. Dives are made from our custom dive boat below, with tanks, weights and belts provided.
