2. Eligibility: The Villas of the Galleon contest is open to anyone that signs up to our email mailing list. No purchase is necessary. Your chances of winning do not increase with a purchase. Entrants must be 21 years of age or older as of their date of entry in this promotion to qualify. This Win A Free Stay Contest is subject to federal, state, and local laws and regulations and void where prohibited by law. Villas of the Galleon’s employees, its subsidiaries, affiliates, suppliers, partners, advertising and promotion agencies, and directors (collectively the “Employees”), as well as members of an Employees’ immediate family and/or those living in the same household of Employees, are ineligible to participate in the Win A Free Stay Contest.
3. Sponsorship: Villas of the Galleon (“Sponsor”) is located in West Bay, Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands. The Sponsor will conduct the Win A Free Stay Contest substantially as described in these Official Rules.
4. Agreement to Rules: By entering this Win A Free Stay Contest, the Entrant (“You”) agrees to abide by the Sponsor’s Official Rules and decisions, which are fully and unconditionally binding in all respects. The Sponsor reserves the right to refuse, withdraw, or disqualify any entry at any time at the Sponsor’s sole discretion. By entering this contest, You represent and warrant that You are eligible to participate based on eligibility requirements explained in the Official Rules. You also agree to accept the decisions of the Sponsor as final and binding as it relates to the content of this contest.
5. Entry Period: This promotion begins on June 1st, 2025, and ends on January 15th, 2026 (“Entry Period”). To be eligible for the Win A Free Stay Contest, entries must be received within the specified Entry Period.
6. How to Enter: Eligible entrants can enter the Win A Free Stay Contest by submitting an entry via the online form provided at https://www.villasofthegalleon.com/contest/. Your entry must fully meet all contest requirements, as specified in these Official Rules, to be eligible to win a prize. Incomplete entries or those that do not adhere to the Official Rules will be disqualified at the Sponsor’s sole discretion. NOTE: Only one entry per participant. Participants must be at least 21 years old at the time of entry. Residents of Quebec are excluded from participating. Fraudulent methods of entry or circumvention of the rules may result in the Sponsor invalidating your entries and removing them from the contest at the Sponsor’s sole discretion.
7. Prizes: The Winner(s) of the Win A Free Stay Contest (the “Winner”) will receive a 5-night stay at Villas of the Galleon in a 2 Bedroom Ocean View Villa for up to 4 guests between August 1st – November 15th, 2026. The actual/appraised prize value may differ at the time the prize is awarded. The prize(s) shall be determined solely by the Sponsor. No cash or other prize substitution is permitted except at the Sponsor’s discretion. The prize is non-transferable. The Winner, upon acceptance of the prize, is solely responsible for all expenses related to the prize. Flights to and from the Cayman Islands are not included. Transfers to the property are not included. Meals and beverages are not included. Entrants must be 21 years old and will be required to show their driver’s license or passport. By accepting the prize, the selected Winner grants permission for the Sponsor to use the Winner’s likeness, entry, and name for purposes of advertising and trade without further compensation unless prohibited by law. The Winner may upgrade to a higher room category or add additional nights for an additional charge at time of booking.
8. Odds: The total number of eligible entries received determines the odds of winning.
9. Selection and Notification of Winner: The Winner will be selected by a random drawing under the supervision of the Sponsor. The Winner will be notified by email. The Winner has 72 hours from the time of the email notification to confirm their prize. The Sponsor is not responsible for the Winner’s failure to receive notices due to spam filters, junk mail, or incorrect contact information. If the Winner fails to claim the prize within 3 days, is found ineligible, or does not return the required declaration and release, the prize may be forfeited and an alternate Winner may be selected. Receipt of the prize is conditional upon compliance with all applicable laws. If the Winner violates any rules, the Sponsor may disqualify the Winner at its sole discretion.
10. Rights Granted by You: By entering this contest, You understand and agree that the Sponsor and anyone acting on behalf of the Sponsor has the right to send you newsletters and promotional emails. You may unsubscribe from our mailing list at any time.
11. Terms & Conditions: The Sponsor reserves the right to modify, suspend, cancel, or terminate the contest if non-authorized human intervention, a bug, virus, fraud, or other causes affect the integrity or proper functioning of the contest. In such cases, the Sponsor may determine the Winner based on all eligible entries received prior to and/or after the action. The Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify anyone who tampers with or attempts to tamper with the entry process or violates these Terms & Conditions. Any attempt to deliberately damage any website or undermine the operation of the contest may violate criminal and civil laws.
12. Limitation of Liability: By entering the contest, You agree to release and hold harmless the Sponsor, its affiliates, partners, advertising agencies, and their respective employees and agents from any claims, damages, or liabilities that may occur, directly or indirectly, from participation in the contest or acceptance, possession, or use of any prize awarded.
13. Disputes: This contest is governed by the laws of the Cayman Islands without regard to conflict of law doctrines. Any disputes arising from this contest shall be resolved exclusively in courts located in Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands. By participating, You waive all rights to punitive, incidental, or consequential damages, including reasonable attorney’s fees, other than actual out-of-pocket expenses. You also waive the right to have damages multiplied or increased.
14. Winners List: You may request the Winner’s name or a copy of these Official Rules by sending a request with a stamped, self-addressed envelope to Villas of the Galleon, West Bay, Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands.
15. Agreement: By checking the “I Agree” box on the contest page, You, the Entrant, affirmatively agree to all of the Official Rules.
