best location in Grand Cayman I am reluctant to post this review because I want our favorite beach escape to stay a hidden gem. But that is not fair to the Villas of the Galleon (VOG) and their amazing staff. We have stayed in multiple villas at VOG during different times of the year. Never disappointed. It is the perfect beach escape. The villas are clean and well equipped. The daily housekeeping staff, the onsite 24/7 security guards, and maintenance staff are always ready to assist and very quick to address any questions, concerns. There are plenty of restaurants within walking. Foster’s grocery store delivers.

The condo was beautifully decorated, cleaned daily by 2 friendly housekeepers, great kitchen with all appliances/utensils for cooking a meal. The condo was quiet and there was a beach view from the balcony. Restaurants are within walking distance. A lovely meal platter was provided on arrival. You will need to supply your own laundry detergent if using washer and dryer. Also no hair dryer on site. Unforgettable Nov 29 – stayed in Villa 12. Fabulous views and gorgeous beach. Staff was fabulous. Lisa and her team with Hello Cayman were fantastic. Safe, clean and quiet. Plenty of places to eat within walking distance. Grocery will deliver and liquor store directly across the street. Highly recommend. The only comment is that the furnishings could stand to be updated. but hey, whos there to sit around in the room? 5 out of 5. David and Dawn H.

Would be a 10/10 without the predawn “wake-up calls” We just returned from a 7 night stay at the Villas of the Galleon. We had stayed on the Island several times, but always at the Westin next door. We are so glad that we tried VOG! The unit that we rented was clean, nicely decorated and was quite spacious. We were on the 2nd floor with a view of the ocean and a very brief walk to the beach. The beach was sparsely occupied most days and we never had a problem getting lounge chairs under an umbrella. Perhaps if we had gone at a busier time of year, then obtaining a chair might have been a problem. We noticed that some people go to the beach at the crack of dawn to claim a spot with their towels and belongings, leave and show up much later in the day for a brief time. We appreciated our unit being available when we arrived even though it was before the check-in time and the daily housekeeping was great. Everyone we encountered on the property was friendly and helpful. Our only issue, and this is a big one, is the roosters. It was impossible to get a good nights sleep. Even sleeping with air conditioner fan blowing and cotton in our ears we were awoken every morning-well before sunrise. Although the time on the beach was relaxing, I returned home sleep-deprived and exhausted. The roosters leave their droppings everywhere and I had the unfortunate experience of stepping and sliding in it on one of the walkways to our unit. Each morning on our balcony we would watch the roosters (we saw 3 at one time) make their rounds and stand outside each unit and cock-a-doodle-do! We never encountered this problem at the Westin. Perhaps they have a way to manage them. Aside from the roosters, the trip was a 10 out of 10. We really loved it there, but sadly, I’m not sure if I can return to that noise. It was that big of a deal for us. Maybe industrial earplugs would do the trick!

Great location smack between two big business/resort hotels (Ritz-Carlton and Westin), across street from good diner and sports bar.

In conclusion, it’s perfect! Basically perfect. Great location, comfortable accommodations that includes everything you need, clean and spacious. Also, very peaceful. I don’t think there is really a bad location in any of these units, it’s easy to get around and access the beach. And, cannot say enough about the great staff that is always responsive and ready to help. Cannot wait to come back again.

Great rooms, great location Great facility! Convenient to biz hotels, stores, entertainment- the rooms were clean, well-furnished, well-maintained. I’ll be back next year!

We just stayed here during our visit to Grand Cayman. The condos are nice and clean. The staff was very nice, they clean the rooms daily. We stayed in a water front unit and had a wonderful view of the beach. Over all location was good as well. Would definitely stay in a water front unit here again.

Perfect Trip with friends ,our 3rd time at the Villas of the Galleon Can someone please tell me in Sept , Is it the rainy season in the Caymans ? It rained a couple of times for a short time. It was beautiful the rest of the time.
