TERMS & CONDITIONS

Rates are in USD and do not include 13% government tax or 5% gratuity charge.
Rates are subject to change without notice.
Reservations require a 3-night minimum stay, with the exception of the Holiday Season, when a 7-night minimum applies.
Extra person over the age of 12: add $50 USD per night plus tax and fees.
Children and infants count towards the maximum occupancy of a unit.
If extra persons are added to a reservation, the applicable fees will be added for the duration of the reservation.
Check-in is at 4:00 PM and check-out is at 11:00 AM.
Rollaway beds can be provided on a first come, first service basis at no additional charge.
Request for rollaway beds must be received a minimum of 72 hours before check-in.
Maximum 1 rollaway bed per villa.
Please note that rollaway beds are not permitted in Premium units.
Pets are not permitted.
All units are non-smoking.

Deposit Policies

Low/Shoulder Season

A 3-night deposit is required to confirm a reservation.
The remaining balance will be charged 30 days prior to arrival.
Full payment is required for reservations made within 30 days.

Winter Season

A 3-night deposit is required to confirm a reservation.
The remaining balance will be charged 60 days prior to arrival.
Full payment is required for reservations made within 60 days.

Holiday Season

A 50% deposit is required to confirm a reservation.
The remaining balance will be charged 90 days prior to arrival.
Full payment is required for reservations made within 90 days of arrival.

Cancellation Policies

Low/Shoulder Season

Reservation cancellation or changes are accepted if received more than 30 days prior to arrival.
If a reservation is cancelled more than 30 days prior to arrival, 4% of the deposit will be charged as a cancellation fee.
If a reservation is cancelled within 30 days of arrival, the full total will be forfeit.
No refunds or credits will be issued for late arrivals, early departures or no shows.

Winter Season

Reservation cancellation or changes are accepted if received more than 60 days prior to arrival.
If a reservation is cancelled more than 60 days prior to arrival, 4% of the deposit will be charged as a cancellation fee.
If a reservation is cancelled within 60 days of arrival, the full total will be forfeit.

Hurricane Policy

If a hurricane warning is issued for the Cayman Islands by the National Hurricane Center, with dates that overlap with your reservation, you may call or email to reschedule your stay, or you may cancel your reservation and receive a full refund.
If a hurricane warning is issued during your stay and you are forced to depart early, a refund will be issued for any unused nights.
If your arrival is delayed due to a hurricane warning, a refund will be issued for any unused nights.
The Hurricane Policy does not apply if you are scheduled to arrive after a Hurricane has passed.
The Hurricane Policy does not apply for Tropical Storm watches, alerts and warnings or Hurricane watches and alerts.
The Hurricane Policy is only applicable on reservations booked directly with Villas of the Galleon.

Damage Policy

Guest Responsibility

Guests are responsible for the care and maintenance of the room during their stay. Any damages caused by the guest, or their visitors will be the financial responsibility of the registered guest. This includes, but is not limited to, damages to furniture, fixtures, linens, and electronic devices.

Reporting & Assessing Damages

If a guest discovers any damages or malfunctions in their villa, they must immediately report it to the Front Office. Failure to report damages may result in the guest being held responsible for repairs or replacements. We reserve the right to assess and determine the extent of damages. The guest will be informed of the associated costs for repairs or replacements, and the charges will be applied to the guest’s credit card on file.

Security Deposit

While a deposit will not be collected, guests are required to present a valid credit card upon check-in to cover any loss or damage of property that may occur in their rental unit during their stay.

Villa Assignments

Since every unit at Villas of the Galleon is unique, once a reservation is confirmed, every effort will be made to accommodate you in the villa you have booked. Villa assignments can however not be guaranteed if unforeseen circumstances arise.
